Imagine a tavern, filled with smoke and crowded with people, some of them from far away, who came together in the „Funzel“ a the tiny village of Worms, just to listen to two singers from the US. Malcolm Holcombe is a songwriter, more than a songwriter: a poet and human being fool of stories, and he has the unique voice to sing them. One of those singers, who combines perfectly words and music. Accompanied by Jared Tyler, more than a support, but a friend in music on the slide guitar and as a singer, also. No jazz, but great anyway – and highly recommended.
